Our Network

All of our servers are directly connected to an APC Symmetra battery backup system, which in turn is backed up by a CAT diesel generator with approximately 500 gallons of fuel onsite.

We also have multiple DS3 connections to the internet, this leaves us with no single point of failure for Data transfer. By having the generator and multiple high-speed data lines, we are able to stay online indefinetly if a power failure were to occur. And all data lines are routed through different entrances in the Data Center. In order for our servers to be taken offline, a major catastrophy would have to occur.

Our Data Center is located in Michigan, which is a very seismically stable part of the country. Our network uses all Cisco hardware, and is climate controlled. Your data is secure in our Data Center as the only way to enter the server room is with a security guard.

We use Dell servers mainly for there reputation of long lasting and trouble free operation. No server will host more than 100 domains, and servers are typically replaced every three years. All server run Windows Server 2003, either the Standard Edition or the Web Edition. And feature 10K rpm SCSI drives or SATA drives, all in a RAID configuration (RAID 1 or RAID 5). All data is backed up off site to further protect against Data loss in the event off a server failure. We also recommend that our customers keep an updated copy of their Data.
